How and why to Niche down in Podcasting; by finding a topic that you’re passionate about and that you can talk about for hours. Find a niche within that topic that you can focus on, and become the go-to expert on that niche. Build an audience of people who are interested in that topic, and provide value to them through your content.

When you niche down, you become known for a specific thing. This can help you attract a specific audience and build a loyal following. It’s important to make sure that you’re passionate about your topic, as this will come through in your content and make it more engaging for your audience. If you’re not interested in your topic, it will be difficult to keep people listening.

To find a niche within your topic, you can start by brainstorming a list of subtopics. Once you have a list, you can start to research each one to see if there’s a need for more content on that topic. You can also look at what other podcasts are talking about and see if there are any gaps that you can fill.

When you’re ready to start podcasting, make sure to create content that is valuable and interesting to your audience. If you can provide value and help people learn, you’ll be on your way to build a successful podcast.

A niched down Podcast I appear on is The WP Tonic Podcast a weekly podcast that covers all things Tech and SaaS on a Thursday where I am the co host and, there is also a Friday Melee where Hosts Jonathan Denwood and Stephanie Hudson chat with some of the brightest minds in the WordPress community to get insights and tips on everything from plugin and theme development to running a successful WordPress business.

Stephanie is also the co host on Divi Chat – a podcast for Divi theme users and offers advice on how to build, scale and manage your Divi Theme Web Business

Whether you’re a WordPress beginner or a seasoned pro, you’re sure to learn something new from the WP Tonic Podcast.

Often times you can also find me on the WP Minute Podcast by Matt Medeiros of the Matt Report – who also happens to be the go to guy for starting a podcast with Castos a WordPress Plugin and Podcasting hosting service that helps you manage, publish and create your podcast. Of course, my focus is on my own industry – which is fair enough – One of the most enjoyable podcasts in my niche and I also really like appearing on is WP Builds. It’s a gentle foray into our ever complex world of WordPress and has some great guests, a lively and well informed host in Nathan Wrigley and is just almost too perfect to exist – Did I say its my favourite podcast?

Outside of WordPress there are many shows that maybe, you would not be interested in. Nevertheless, they have an engaged audience.

  4. “The NoSleep Podcast” – A podcast about a man who starts to believe that the world is out to get him
